Findley State Park If you travel 50 minutes north of Mohican you will find Findley State Park. Guests at Findley State Park can enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and swimming and boating at the lake within the park. Malabar Farm State Park Malabar Farm State Park is only 20 minutes northwest from Mohican State Park. This state park provides its guests the opportunity to take tours of the Louis Bromfield house and Malabar Farm, and to dine at the Malabar Inn Restaurant and shop at the gift shop. Wolf Creek/Pine Run Grist Mill A recently restored mill from the 1830's, the Wolf Creek/Pine Run Grist Mill is located just south of Mohican State Park on State Route 3. Visit their website to learn more, or go to the Area Events page to read about various events at the Grist Mill.

Pleasant Hill Lake Owned by the Muskingum Water Conservancy District, Pleasant Hill Lake is located approximately 10 miles from the state park campground. Pleasant Hill Lake offers a beach and a marina for swimming, boating, and waterskiing.

Mohican Trails Club The Mohican Trails Club is a local hiking group that organizes different hikes through Mohican State Park and Memorial Forest, as well as building and maintaining trails. Visit their web page for more information.



Emerald Ash Borer Quarantine
For more information regarding Emerald Ash Borer and its quarantine areas, please visit the
Ohio Department of Agriculture web page or call 1-800-OHIO-EAB. Remember, Mohican State Park asks all campers to purchase firewood locally to prevent the spread of Emerald Ash Borer.
